The IBM i Development lab continues to roll out new functions and features with every release and technology refresh. In this session we will review some of the key features that have been delivered over the past couple of TRs and is core the 7.5 release. These are things that you should be aware of either for you to incorporate today, or to help you tomorrow.

We all work in environments where data is changing, often rapidly. At times it would be nice to know what the data looked like an hour, a day, or even a week ago. With conventional files and tables this is hard, that might even involve restoring data from journals. SQL Temporal Tables alleviates all of that work. They allow you to view the data as it was at any time, and allows many people to view the data at different times all at the same time.

PowerHA has been an important asset when it comes to high availability solutions for your workload deployed on IBMi Platform. In this session, we will explore on PowerHA solutions & try to uncover the myth that PowerHA is difficult to implement & requires heavy changes in your traditional deployments.
